Thomas in another hat. This hat isn't for him, it's for a girl at his day care, but he looks cute in it anyway. In fact, he looks so cute in it that I think I'm going to use the rest of the red yarn to make him a hat that is slightly less girly.

Thomas got a new Thomas the Tank Engine train set today.

As you can see, he digs it.

Funny/smart things Thomas has done lately:

Yesterday he got Sean's wallet and was taking Sean's cards out of it. He took the science center membership card out and said "Science Center!" He took the Kroger discount card out and said, "Grocery store!" And then--and we were totally amazed by this--he took out the Borders discount card (which has no books on it, and is just red with the words in white) and said "Book store!"

The other day I mentioned I needed to get some yarn to make Sean a scarf, and Thomas said, "Get sheep!"

This morning he's watching one of his Baby Einstein animal DVDs, and there are flamingos on the screen, and he ran and got his flamingo puppet and keeps holding it up to the screen to show it the DVD flamingos, saying "Look? See? Look? See?"

And, he always wants to talk on the phone now. Yesterday morning I asked what he wanted to do, and he said, "Call Bweandmac" (Bre and Marc for those who don't understand toddler). And then at day care he was playing with the phone going, "Hi, Gamma! Hi, Gamma!"

Anyway, he can be very funny when he isn't being a pain in the butt!

He figured out bubbles! I was just cleaning out the trunk of our car, and I had some bubble bottles from the dollar store in there. We started playing with them, and Thomas got it. He is a really good bubble blower now!

And, he can go down the stairs by himself, too. It's super cute because while he's doing it, he says, "Big guy. Big guy. Big guy." And then he's so proud of himself when he finishes.

Two more pictures of Thomas, from day care today:

I think he blew one or two bubbles successfully, and the rest of the time he just tried to steal the wands from the other kids and ran around knocking or nearly-knocking over their bubbles.

I made a hat for Thomas. I think the earflaps look a little weird, but anything looks cute on him.
